To better enable clients to understand the value in this Shadow Work, Sole Umbra needs a logo, if not a full brand system, to serve as an educational tool as much as identifying elements. The logo and brand elements should have a narrative and symbolic function above all else, using the element of contrast and principle of duality for primal levels of idea and ethos recognition.
The Sole Umbra logo is at once a horizon, a sun, an optical illusion and a Fibonacci Sequence. The gestalt nature of the mark speaks to the dual nature of Robin’s philosophy and the sequenced bars to the idea of progress.
The color palette evokes feelings of bright sun and dark shadow.
